We will be offering community style acupuncture. The community style of Acupuncture is not as extensive a treatment as a private session. The treatments are performed on electric reclining chairs and the treatment is anywhere between 20 to 30 minutes. Acupuncturists treat points on the scalp, below the elbows and knees to treat the entire body. You will be in a quiet setting surrounded by other people receivng treatment at the same time. Patients find many benefits from the community setting and you can experience treatments with family, friends and community.

About our acupuncturists
Aaron Mittica, L.Ac., Dipl.,
Aaron is a licensed acupuncturist and chiropractic assistant. His strong roots in alternative medicine came about at a young age as the son of two local Lafayette Hill chiropractors. After graduating from Drew University with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology, he taught Chemistry and Physics for four years before turning to Acupuncture. He attended the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Glenside, PA, graduating in 2013. Arron has a strong belief that acupuncture is essential for bringing about balance for the body to promote healing. Along with Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques, Aaron practices Five Element Acupuncture - A theory that follows the natural cycles of life and energy movement. Patients have deemed his practices "innovative" and "creative" through his integration of Western and Eastern medicines; combining both to treat the whole patient, not just the symptoms.
About our Shiatsu Therapist
Shannon Haughey, LMT, CYI
Shannon received her training in Shiatsu at the prestigious Ohashi Institute in Chicago and New York. She studied directly with Wataru Ohashi, the founder of the Ohashi Institute, at a time when he was instrumental in introducing the west to this ancient art. Shannon also uses CranioSacral Therapy as a compliment to her work. CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tension deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction. This technique was developed by John Upgleger, D.O. Shannon remains excited about her work and in addition to maintaining a private practice she has become an educator in the healing arts field and a Certified Yoga Instructor.
