Pacific Rim platform beds come with a sturdy platform of 16 closely spaced fir slats attached with jute webbing and bolstered by a center beam in all sizes except twin beds. Buy the 4-slat upgrade kit to get a total of 20 slats for a firmer bed. Dimensions: Headboard post height: 36 inches. Footboard post height: 19 5/8 inches. Height available under rail: 9 3/4 inches. Height to platform: 14 1/2 inches. Outside bed dimensions 42-3/8 inches wide by 80.5 inches long. Inside bed diimensions: 39 inches wide by 76 inches long. Fits Standard/Twin mattress.
