This workshop introduces the massage therapist to stretching techniques that can be applied to any therapeutic session thus achieving more results out of their session(s) In this
four hour workshop the basics of stretching and how to apply the
techniques in any therapeutic session is discussed, illustrated, and
applied.
What you will learn:ยท
- The basics of stretching techniques discussed
illustrated and applied
- Focus on AIS (Active Isolated Stretching), Static, and
PNF (Proprioceptor Neuromuscular Facilitation)
- Techniques will be applied in a
massage session, a chair massage session, and sports massage (event)
session

- Set of sheets, hand towel

About your instructor:
William F. Burton, Jr. LMT, CMCE has completed the 500-hour massage program at the National Massage Therapy Institute (NMTI) in October of 2002. While at NMTI, William received CEU training in Aromatherapy, Raindrop Therapy and Reflexology. Traveling
to Berkley, CA William participated in a certification program in the
ancient healing art of Thai Massage and is currently a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professional(ABMP) as well as the Alliance for Massge Therapy Education (AMTE) and Advanced Continuing Education (ACE).
Upon
graduating from NMTI William started his own professional outcall
massage service: ENRAPTURED MASSAGE SVCS and for the past 4 years he has
been a massage instructor at the DPT business school where he teaches
Anatomy & Physiology, Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage,
Pathology, Kinesiology, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Upon
completing the Massage Cupping CEU certification workshop, William was
hired by the creator and owner of Advanced Continuing Education (ACE)
